Improves strength, elasticity, electrical conductivity and resistance to wear, corrosion, acid and heat. Ferrosilicon is used in transformer and carbon steel used in automobile production.

Used in different industrial sectors for making some parts. For instance, in the production of musical instruments, pipes and plumbing, electronics and electrical engineering, decor, jewelry, door fittings etc. Brass is relatively easy to saw and drill.
